DB Cooper Skate & Street is inspired by America’s most daring outlaw. In 1971, Dan Cooper boarded a plane with a bomb in his briefcase. He politely passed the flight attendant a note, demanding a $200,000 ransom and a parachute. Once the plane landed, and his demands were met, he released the passengers and instructed the pilot to return to the air. DB Cooper, as he’s since become known, parachuted out of the jet’s back door. Neither he nor all the money was ever found.
